Survey: American Seniors Less Healthy Than Peers in Comparable Countries

Many news outlets are reporting on a new study by The Commonwealth Fund that finds older Americans aren’t doing as well at staying healthy as their counterparts in other industrialized countries around the globe. It seems our seniors are encountering more chronic diseases and relying on more prescription drugs to address their symptoms than those in the U.K., Norway, New Zealand, the Netherlands, France and elsewhere.
